WHAT ARE MOTORCYCLE RIGHTS?
You are not a second class citizen just because you chose to ride a motorcycle. You have the same rights decreed by the Declaration of Independence as anyone else. You pay taxes and you are not a public burden. Your mode of transportation may be a minority on the roads, but your right to use the roads is not any less than someone else’s. Your mode of dress may be different but it is not wrong. You have the right to have insurance that covers you while riding. The government, whether it is local, state or national, should not infringe upon those rights. You should be treated with the same respect that is afforded to the non-riding citizens.
You have the Right to choose your elected officials no matter what anyone else says. It is your right to mark your ballot as you see fit. You are guaranteed the right to question your government and to take action if deemed necessary. In the Declaration of Independence you are guaranteed the right of "Life, Liberty and he Pursuit of Happiness". Do not take these rights lightly, many people have died to protect these rights and it is time for all of us to stand up and show they have not died in vain. If you need convincing go to Arlington National Cemetery and see the graves of our fallen heroes, got to the War Memorials and finally stand in front of the United States Capitol Building where all the members of the legislative branches meet and swear you will fight to protect your rights and the rights of our Brothers and Sisters and not let our fallen heroes down because they gave the ultimate sacrifice. If we don't protect these rights they will disappear into a mist lost forever with no footnote in history! |
