Legislative Getting Started

MEMBERSHIP IN ABATE OF FLORIDA, INC.

If motorcycle rights are important to you then join ABATE of Florida, Inc. ABATE of Florida, Inc. organizes and mobilizes their members to advocate these issues.  ABATE of Florida, Inc. exists to monitor legislation and our lobbyist testifies on your behalf during Senate and House hearings.  ABATE collects, processes, and exchanges information that may concern you or substantiate our views and places it in your hands through its newsletters and websites.

ABATE of Florida, Inc. is comprised of men and women from all walks of life.
ABATE of Florida, Inc. consists of local chapters throughout the state that have been organized by motorcyclists, to promote a positive image and promote motorcycle safety. They have fun sponsoring local activities; pooling resources for the common benefit of the members and promoting political awareness.

As a member of Abate of Florida, you have a choice with your level of involvement.  Some members choose to take on Board Positions at the chapter or state level.  Some members come to meetings and volunteer for activity at events and runs.  Some members choose to just receive their information at home and be informed.  All of these levels are important.  Why… because each of these levels involve being informed and having knowledge. There is power in knowledge and truth, especially when that relates to votes at the polls.  There is also strength in numbers.  When our Lobbyist goes to Tallahassee, membership numbers weigh in heavily.

You must be 18 years of age to be considered for membership in ABATE of Florida, Inc.
