ABATE of Florida, Inc., and its more than 7300 members State-wide would like to thank Governor Crist for proclaiming May 2008 as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. His action illustrates his commitment to the motorcycling citizens of the state of Florida  and his knowledge of the crucial importance of both driver and rider education.

With more than 900,000 motorcyclists coming in and out of the state of Florida, it is imperative that drivers understand the proper and safest way to share the road with riders. Recognizing the need, ABATE of Florida, Inc. created the Motorcycle Safety Awareness Program to educate the public and help prevent accidents and save lives.

Also known as MSAP, it is conducted by trained members of local ABATE chapters in your community, presenting valuable insight and information necessary to make the roads safer for everyone.

ABATE of Florida, Inc. and your local ABATE chapter offer the Motorcycle Safety Awareness Program to any organization or school free of charge. For more information or to arrange for a presentation, please call the state office.
